Hello Everyone,
Wow!! Where do I start? It has been a crazy year already!!! So Mike got a job in February, Ever since then he has been working his little tail off! They usually work anywhere between 15-24 hours a day. He has been working so hard! I am so proud of him, he has a really good job. He works in the oilfield industry, they transport Trucks from one site to another around south texas mostly. When he first started working I was very depressed and sad, I would wake up by myself and go to bed by myself. It was not fun at all I was so lonely for his love. And when he was home he was so tired he would need to get his rest. So thankfully we got through that part of our life. So as the time as went on, Mike's mom's health wasn't doing very well she was having a lot of seizures so we decided that we would let her move back in with us, it was nice to have someone else to talk to while Mike wasn't here. Then we planted some flowers and our palm tree so there are some pictures. So then one night I was really really depressed so I went over and talked to my friend Bonita, I was so thankful that she was all listening ears. I really needed someone to talk to and she was there for me. Bonita and I have become good friends. She owns a retail store in Sinton, and has lots of different cute things. So one day she is like Amy you should open a store like this because you are so crafty. So it has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while. So one day I decided to start looking in Mathis for a rental building. i found a couple but they were pretty run down and we didn't have the money to fix them up. So then I found a building for rent right off main street but it was behind another retail shoppe that was similar to the one we are going to have. So after a few days we decided that was just not the place for us. We decided to tell them it was better for everyone if we looked for somewhere else. So the next day Mike and I went to town to see if we could find another building, and there it was.... Just waiting for US! So we went to the City to find out who owned it. Then we gave her a call but she was out of town and wouldn't be back until the next day. So the next day I got ready and I was so nervous about talking to her because the City had told us a lot of people wanted to rent it but she wanted to use it for storage. So i went and talked to her and she had just made a sign to put it for rent. So I was so excited and it was April Fool's Day, so I called Mike and told him that I went up there and talked to her but she told me it was just for storage. He's like oh man, and then I told him APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!!! LOL!! So then I told him that we got the building and we were so excited!!! So this was on Friday, and she was closed until Tuesday, so we went back on Tuesday to give her our money and sign the lease. She is such a nice lady! She is 82 years old and you would never know it. We are so thankful to have this building and we know that it was the Lord's work in how we got it. So ever since then we have been working hard to be able to save some money, and be able to get this Business going and I owe it all to my ever loving WONDERFUL husband! So our shoppe is going to be a consignment where people that make homemade items will be able to put them in our store for a small rent and commission. We have quite a few people bringing things in our store so we are very excited. We will have things such as, Candles, Jewelry, Watches, Tutu's, Hairbows, Flower Clips, Tutu Dresses, Dog treats, aprons, hand appliqued pillowcases, hooded baby towels, washcloths with burp cloths, Melissa and Doug toys, Pillowcase dresses, baby shoes, whippy dips, kitchen accessories, yellow box shoes, and then once we start making money we are going to get some clothes and more things. So i have been working really hard to get some displays together. So today i started painting and putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls and then we painted one wall yellow and the front of the countertop is going to be yellow. I love it already so i will be posting more pictures as we are progressing i have only one week from tommorrow! YIKES! I better get back to work! Sorry ya'll this is so long! I will try to update more often!

Hi Everyone,

Well we sure did have a good year in 2010. I can't believe it is already 2011~~ This year in June we will have been married for 10 years. I remember when my brother had been married for 10 years and im like *WOW* that is a LONG time! LOL! Now that im getting older and wiser!!! LOL!!! I realize that your 30's isn't that old at all! We are just beginning our life, hopefully pretty soon we can think about starting our family. We know that when the time is right the Lord will sent us our gift that is waiting in heaven. Im going to attach some pictures from our year in 2010. Here are some pictures from the time we got to spend with Our niece's and nephew from Amy's side of the family. I will try better this year to add more pictures as we go through 2011. No promises, but I will try. I got a new calling at Church in December and im the new 1st Counselor in Young Women's im very excited about getting to work with the girls and learning from them. I want Mike to know how much I LOVE HIM! He is my WHOLE world, my EVEYRTHING, my SOULMATE and I know that it was GOD'S will that we were meant to be together. I love you baby!!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have blogged. We have been pretty busy these last few months. We have just been working on our house getting it fixed up! Mike has been working a lot. We really love spending our time off with each other. Amy has been doing a few craft shows and we have been enjoying our time that we have watching football we really enjoy watching it together. Hi Everyone,
WE had so much fun last weekend! We decided to drive up to San Antonio on Saturday and spend the day so we didn't have to spend the money on a hotel room. We sure did have alot of fun! First we went to the San Antonio LDS Temple, and we went to the distribution center. We got a lot of videos and Mike got some new scriptures I had got him some previously but the pages weren't cut all the way. We also each got a hymn book to match our scriptures so I really liked that! We also got the study manuals for the scriptures to help us understand them better. Then we went to the Riverwalk, it was really fun! We ate at The Saltgrass Steakhouse, it was so delicious! We had steak, potatoes, bread, salad, and these really yummy they call em Rattlers' they are shrimp with jalapeno on the outside then stuffed with cream cheese, and breading! So delicious! If you ever go to one it is sure a treat! Then we went on the riverwalk, then that nite we went over to Bass Pro Shop so Mike could look around! Then we went to The Palladium Theatre, went and saw Inception at the IMAX theatre. I was really loud and big, and i just think i like the little old theatre better. But we sure did have fun spending some quality time together! Here are some pictures of our Adventures.

9th Year Anniversary!!!

Hi Everyone,
Well this past Saturday was our 9th year Anniversary. We had a great day, Mike thought he was going to take me to this really nice salon (AVEDA SALON). This is how it went, Mike: Your going to be so happy today, Amy: Oh really well I can help you if you tell me where we are going, Mike: You just wait and see. So he starts down this road and I'm like hmmm I know where he is taking me, we were heading to this salon where i had been before to get a free sample. I said if you are taking me to that AVEDA SALON I'm not getting out of this truck because I'm not going to let you spend your money like that. So i finally talked him into taking me to the mall, and he bought me some new clothes, and took me to Macy's i got my makeup done, Then we went to the TEXAS STATE AQUARIUM. We had so much fun seeing all the animals. Then we left there and I was going to go get a pedicure but they were to busy so i told him that is OK i can do it next week. So then we went to this Restaurant called "THE REPUBLIC OF TEXAS" on the 20th floor of the Omni Hotel in Downtown Corpus Christi, Texas. OH MY GOSH this food was so good!!! WE had a wedge salad, yummy bread with roasted garlic, i had a new york strip, he had a fillet Mignon, and a baked potato, then for dessert we had this chocolate layered ganosh with raspberry, fresh whip cream, a piece of brittle, and we also had creme brulee, with fresh fruit shortbread cookies, whip cream..... hm mm it was so DELISH!!!! This was one of the best anniversaries i think we have had in a long time!!! Thank you so much baby you made my DAY, YEAR, AND I COULD GO ON ON ON ON AND ON.... I love you MICHAEL HOLT~~~

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I haven't been blogging for awhile. Here is what we have been up to, Mike is trying to find a job still. He works turnarounds at the Refinery but it is only temporary. Amy is just staying home and enjoying getting things done around here and I have went back to church and im really enjoying all our friends at church. I just got called to serve as the Relief Society Counselor, Visiting Teacher Cordinator, and I also do the programs for Sunday's and I decorate the bulletin board for Relief Society every month. It has a pocket for a recipe, the visiting teacher message, and the announcements. Also some of the hats have the Birthday's for this month. I also am decorating the bulletin board for our little branch and helping the primary do their's. After they saw mine Sister Harrison who is the Primary President asked me if I would help her do her's so that is what im working on. I hope everyone is doing well. Mike has been going fishing alot he really enjoys going fishing, this saturday he is taking the Scouts on a fishing trip so he is really looking forward to that! Well I guess it is time I had a post! Well 1st i was so excited today to find out that I was a winner on Freebies 2 deals, Melea gave away Slice cutters to make it a whole lot easier to cut coupons! Im so EXCITED! you have no idea! So anyways, nothing much has been going on down here in South Texas! We are just getting really excited for summer to get here so we can go to the BEACH and Amy has planted a garden so I will post some pictures soon! I really wanted a big garden but I settled for a small one this year and next year i plan on having a lot bigger one. I planted Tomatoes, Strawberries, Green Onions, Yellow Onions, Garlic, Cilantro, Red Pepper, Green Peppers, Cucumbers, Cauliflower, Broccoli and Raspberries. I hope everyone is having a lovely spring! Mike is really looking forward to going Fishing now that we are at home, it is very nice to be able to be home and get things done around the house! I will post some pictures soon!

She is awesome she tells everyone about the good deals you can find! So this is what i bought with all my coupons! Ok so I bought all this for 4.60, yes you are not blind! Ok first I will tell you what coupons I had. Buy a Meaty bone and get free biscuits, 1.00 off Pup-eroni sticks, 1.00 off Tiny T-Bonz, 2 coupons 2.00 off Milk Bone Chewy Treats, 2.00 off Clean & Clear product, 1.00 off Jumbone. The biscuits had a coupon on them for free canine carry outs. Then I had a coupon for a 10.00 Gift Card with new prescription, so after i used my gift card it only cost me 4.60. Then I went to Home Depot and we are trying to get our house ready to put it on the market to sell. Hi Everyone,
This year we had a very nice Christmas, we were able to stay home this Holiday Season it was very nice to be able to spend the Holidays at home. Amy cooked a big Thanksgiving Feast and we invited the LDS Missionaries over for Dinner. We were very thankful for everything that we have been blessed with in 2009. Christmas we spent at home with Mike's mom and then on Christmas night we left to go to Utah to spend the Holiday's and New Year's with Amy's family. It was a long drive but we made it there in just about 26 hours. Heck we are truck drivers we should be able to drive that in a breeze! But it is a little different driving in a little truck than a big truck! We sure did have a lot of fun though, Mike and I loved spending time with our nieces and nephew. We drove up to Cedar City one day so we could see the snow and let Daisy go play in the snow, there wasn't too much snow but a little bit! It was sure fun she loved it! For New Year's we went down to Las Vegas and went and saw Gary Allan at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay.
It was pretty fun there was a lot of people there! We left the concert right at when he did the encore so we weren't stuck in the traffic all night.We got back to my Mom's about 04:30 dark in the morning, but it was worth it we were pretty tired though. We stayed at Amy's Mom's for 9 days it was a lot of fun. We were able to help her out so we were thankful for that, we put her Christmas away for her cause she has to haul it out to the garage which is a lot of work. She was sick for Christmas so we were glad we were there to help her. We sure did enjoy our visit though! Here are some pictures of our visit! Hope everyone enjoys the pictures!

Hi Everyone,
Well today was Amy's Birthday, and we sure did have a fun day! Mike made me breakfast in bed, and then we got ready to go to town. We were going to go to see Twilight New Moon but Amy decided let's just stay home and spend the day together and we can play games. So we played my new Twilight game it was really fun, then Mike made dinner for my Birthday we don't really like to eat out very often because we get enough of that on the road! So Mike made Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo, Steamed Broccoli, and Salad with Roasted Garlic Butter French Bread. Was SO delicious. Last night he baked my cake, He made a Red Velvet Cake from scratch, homemade cream cheese icing, and it was so DELICIOUS! If I didn't know better I would have thought he bought it! He also wrote my name on my cake himself! It was so delicious! Then he bought me the new Twilight Game, an OTTlite for my scrapbook room for when I'm doing detailing for things you just need an extra light, a new purse, and an alarm clock that holds and charges my ipod, it is really nice. So I had such a wonderful birthday! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband! Thank you so much for treating me like your Princess because that is exactly how you make me feel! Thank you baby i love you so much! I love you! Here are some pictures of my Birthday!

Well I figured I better blog about what has been going on around here! Nothing much just been trying to get things done around our house. We are going to fix a few things around here so we can put our house up for sale. Hopefully it won't take to long to sell. We want to move to SLC, Utah, we really love Utah and Mike love's the snow. I would love to be closer to my family and my niece's and nephew. Amy cooked a big feast for Thanksgiving so we invited the LDS Missionary's over to our house. It was really nice. One is from Northern California, and the other one just got here from Utah. They are really nice we enjoyed having them over. So we stained our house I will put some pictures as soon as I go outside and take some. We are going to paint the shed and the front of the house where we have lattice and post to our patio. So hopefully within a couple of months we can put our house up for sell. We are really looking forward to living in the mountains. Mike's best man at our wedding lives in SLC so that would be nice for him. We got all of our Christmas up and now just enjoying the holidays. Mike is working, and Amy just stays home. So we hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday season!

Hi Everyone,
Well Amy had a nice time going to Utah to see her family and see her new niece. Her name is Gracie Rae Sant, she is such a doll! What a good baby, she never cries she is so good! I had such a good time spending time with my niece's and nephew. We sure did a lot of things while I was there. Robin and I went to St. George quit a few times, she taught me how to make jewelry it was a lot of fun. We also went shopping for the kids one day we went and got them some new school clothes they are getting so big I can't believe it! Me and Olivia have always been really close I guess it is because she was the first one. One day Olivia was outside playing in the tree and she fell and hurt her wrist. We also went to a place over in St. George called Pirate's Island, it was really fun. They have a cool atmosphere and then we had dinner and the kids got to play games and Olivia played this one game and won 75 tickets she was so excited. S they got to get some candy and little toys. It was a lot of fun! I was also able to help my mom get some things done around her house so i was glad that i got to help her do some things she had wanted to get done. I cleaned out her office one day and we put up her new desk so she can work on her crafts. Also helped her hang the family pictures that fell down. So I had a very good time. It was sure hard to leave I was very sad and it was hard on Olivia she sure does love me a lot. I sure did miss my family at home but I was glad to spend some quality time. But now we think we are going to go back on the road so we can save some money and move to Utah to be closer to my family. I am very looking forward to the next year, Mike and I really love SLC and the weather Mike loves the snow. I grew up in it but it would be nice to have 4 seasons again and not just 2! LOL anyways We hope everyone is doing well! Here are some pictures of my adventures!

Well just thought I would update everyone! Mike is working for a cable installer he is really looking forward to starting his new job! Amy is going to Utah to spend 2 weeks with her family she is really looking forward to being able to spend time with everyone! Mike is staying here to look after the house and the dogs! Amy is really excited to see Olivia, Mason, and Gracie. I will take lots of pictures and post them when I get home. Amy is really going to miss her family but it will be nice to see my family, I haven't been able to spend a long time with them since we went on the road. Daisy is growing so fast! I planted a tomato plant so im really looking forward to see how big they are when i get home! Well talk to you all in a couple of weeks!

Hi Everbody,
Well I guess I should let everyone on what is going on down here in south Texas! We have decided to come off the road and stay at home. So we are in the process of looking for jobs, we love being on the road and making lots of money but we are ready for a change! So we just want everyone to know that we are going to miss you guys a ton and stoping to see everyone! We hope you guys can make it down here to Texas to see us! We have been working on our house and just starting to make all the improvements that have been needing for 2 years now. So on Sunday we went to church and so we stopped at Wal-mart on the way home and they had little 6 week old Boxers, so we had to have one of course. We named her Daisy! We love her so much, we know it is a big adjustment for the babies but they will get used to her in a few weeks! Here are some pictures! Hope everyone is doing well!

Disneyland 2009

We had so much fun at Disneyland! We had a lot of fun with Olivia she really enjoyed us being there! This was Mike's first time going to Disneyland! So we really had a lot of fun! We went to Disneyland and Disneyland California we had so much fun together! It was so much fun to see Mike's eyes light up! After it was all said and done we had taken 995 pictures in 4 days! We also bought a lot of memorabilia, we got a lot of toys for our future kids and some things to hang on the wall. We had so much fun and we are very glad that we had the opportunity to go! We are very glad we got to see Olivia and Mason ride the rides! It was a very fun experience. It really is THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH! Except now our feet hurt so bad from walking so much! But it was worth it, it's not like you get to go to Disneyland everyday! Now we can't wait to be able to take Mike's mom with us!

Hey Everyone,
We hope everyone is doing well! We are really looking forward to the weather warming up! Well it has it's pros and con's! Yes it is nice to get out of the snow for the driving but it also brings out the tornado's! So Mike surely doesn't like the springtime! But I love it.... I love seeing all the beautiful flowers changing colors! Well we have been home now for about 10 days it has really been a nice vacation! Usually we don't stay home for that long so we have really enjoyed just spending time with each other and getting things done around the house! Mike had to fix our A/C it is already pretty warm down here! It has been in the high 80's since we have been home. But we decided we were going to make a bench for our Dog's so when we are sitting out on the patio they would have a place to sit! So here is a picture, sorry it isn't very good. Our camera is having problems so I have to get it fixed next time we are home. I have also been working on some presents for Mason and Olivia. I was talking to Robin and she was telling me the kids really love to help cook so I decided to make them a little apron so I went surfing on the Internet looking for some cute ideas so here are some pictures of the aprons. I will post more when they receive them and can get some pictures from Robin after they have tried them on. I hope they really enjoy them I really had a fun time making them! Well I hope everyone is doing well! We are doing very well. I am really looking forward to summer I love to go to the beach down here in the summer so next time we come home in May it should be very warm! We hope everyone is doing well and we hope to hear from everyone soon!

Grandma's Birthday!

Hi Everyone,
Well I have been contemplating my Grandma's Birthday, which was Jan. 22. I would have done this sooner but we just got home on Friday. I just remember all the funny things she would say. "You better get your hand off of there or you'll be pulling back a bloody stubb", I just want to say Happy Birthday Grandma! I love you and I miss you very much! After I got married and moved away to Texas she sure did fall in love with my Husband Mike. She would always tease with him and he would tell her don't you worry grandma I will make sure these Nurses take good care of you! I love this picture that was at our wedding on June 19, 2001.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!!!

Hi Everyone,
Well we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We sure had a great Christmas this year! Well as soon as we got home that is, we took a load up there to Portland, Oregon. Our dispatcher says just be sure to get in there and out of there before the storm hits so we can get you home, and we said ok. Well we didn't quite make it we had to put Chains on before we even got to Portland. So then we had to run up to Washington to make another stop and then got back to Portland and they had shut down I-84 because of the wind. So we were stuck!!! So the next day we found out they weren't going to open it until Christmas Eve so we said we really don't want to spend Christmas in Portland so we decided to go out of route! So needless to say we finally got home Christmas Morning. But it was ok, so here are some pictures of Christmas Morning and our snow fun! We had a very Good Christmas! Amy got Mike this year cause Mike is a very hard person to buy for because usually if we want something we just go out and buy it! So this year I got Mike a Playstation 3 so needless to say he was pretty shocked! Mike got me a Diamond pair of earrings and he is also buying me a new diamond ring, it is really gorgeous but it is going to be a few months before I get it! We also got the Dogs some new coats for when we go up north and it is freezing but Dutchess is the only one who would pose for me! We hope everyone had a Wonderful Holiday Season! Well we are going back to work tommorrow so we hope to talk to everyone soon!

Through the Holidays!!!

Hi Everyone,
Well I just thought that I would update everyone! We spent Thanksgiving in St. George, Utah we had a fun time spending it with Amy's family. Amy lives all year just to be able to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. We sure had a fun time, it is nice to go shopping with the girls! Then we got back on the road. Amy's birthday was on Dec. 9th, and we were in Ohio for her birthday. We had a really good time, Mike took me to dinner at the Lone star Steakhouse and it was very delicious. I told Mike I wasn't going to have a birthday this year but he doesn't listen very well!!! So now we are very excited to go home next week. It will be nice to spend sometime in our house! And of course my scrapbook room misses me!!! We hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! And have a very Merry Christmas!!!

The Twilight Series!

Ok Kim finally talked me into reading the Twilight series and im so glad she did! Everyday I can't wait to be done driving just so i can read my book!!! It is so good you won't want to put it down! But im about half way through the first book so hopefully i can get them read before the movie comes out! Anyway if you haven't read them you really should it is so good! Ok everyone, im now finished with the first book which is Twilight, the second one is called A New Moon, so im about half way through the second book! It is so awesome! I love it! OK I am now done with the second book New Moon, I am now onto Eclipse the 3rd book it is getting better by the second! I love it!

Gary Allan Concert!!!!

Hi Everybody,
Well just thought we would update everyone! We are now back on the road driving but we are really looking forward to it because we get to travel the country and get paid for it!! But yesterday we came home and went to the Gary Allan Concert, it was really fun! Actually it was a freaking blast, we had so much fun the last time we saw him was back in 2004 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, nothing could beat that but it was really good! We really love him he is a very good entertainer! It was so much fun to have that music so loud that we felt like we were deaf! :) During his concerts he uses his guitar picks and then throws them out to the audience, so he did and mike got one for me it was so awesome! We took some pictures but they are not very good because they wouldn't let you bring camera's so we had to improvise with the cell phone! So we hope everyone likes the pictures! First Day of Fall!!!!

HI Everyone,
Well it is now officially the first day of fall, but if you were down here in South Texas you would not know it! It is 91 degrees outside and the trees are still all green! Well we are getting everything together to go back out on the road. We are very much excited though because it gives us a chance to be able to go and spend time with the rest of our family! Plus we love to go all over the country, My favorite place is to drive over in Tennessee they have the most beautiful canyons. I hope everyone is ready for the Holidays because I am. I love the Holiday time, plus I get to look forward to getting 1 more year older! HAHA Not really!!! But anyways I hope everyone has a great Holiday Season this year. I will not be blogging as much as I have been with being on the road. Mike drives the night shift and I drive the day shift but it works out pretty well!! We will be staying home this year for Christmas, and we look forward to our visit to Amy's family soon.

Padre Island Beach

Hi Everybody,

Ok here is the scoop, for everybody that has been watching the Weather Channel. Hurricane Ike has went just north east of Corpus Christi, Tx. Houston and Galveston is going to get the most of it. We will get a lot of wind and rain but that is about it thank goodness. But most of you who know Mike know how he has to explore everything so today we had to go to town, so mike says "Hey you want to go down to the beach" and Amy says sure? What was I thinking!!! Oh My goodness....

So we went down to Padre Island and it wasn't to bad until we get down there to Mustang Island and it was a lot of tides were coming in, most of the roads were closed down to the beach. So we saw a Tahoe go around the road closed sign so Amy says follow them.... So we go down a ways and just park and walk down to the beach and a BIG TIDE comes in and Mike was walking up on top of a mound and he thought Amy was right behind him and that water came up so fast that it swept Amy right up under her feet and i fell and i called for Mike. SO mike came running down there to rescue me....

So I guess you could say I went for a swim! So then we took some pictures and then we came home but it was pretty fun! So here are some pictures for you guys so you can see what Padre Island looks like.... We hope you guys enjoy the pictures.......

Hello everyone, well everyone has been calling to see if we are ok. But it looks like Ike will be heading North of us so we will just get a lot of rain and wind. We feel like we will be fine just going to stock up on some food and supplies in case we lose power. It should hit us by tomorrow and Saturday. Hopefully it will only be a Cat 3. So im sure we will be stuck home all weekend I will keep everyone informed in case you can't reach us I will call don't worry as soon as the phone lines are not busy. If we have power I will update everyone on Saturday. Thanks for all the prayers.

Hi Everyone, well this week has been pretty busy. We have been working outside trying to get our yard to look good. We have been diggin up trees and bushes, and we also bought some flowers to plant. It has taken us a few days but we have got a lot of progress done. If you don't do it early in the morning it get's way too hot in the afternoon it has been 100 degrees with the humidity, someday I don't know why I even bother taking a shower because all you need to do is go outside for about 10 minutes and you will be wiping the sweat off your brow. But anyways, here are some pictures of our yard, im new at this but i will try to post some before and after. Also on Friday was Mike's Birthday and im always trying to sneak around him to try to surprise him. So i have been planning all week to have a little get together for his birthday it was really fun. We had his extended family over so it was fun. Amy got him the new Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock for our Nintendo WII, his mom bought him a new Weed Eater it is a 4 cycle gas trimmer so you don't have to mix the oil and gas. It is very nice, Tad and Cindy gave him a $25 Chili gift card, Steve and Cecil gave him a Craftsman Scrollsaw it is very nice, Pat and Boots gave him some treatment for our truck. So it turned out very nice and I made dinner for everybody and we had cake and ice cream. It was a very wonderful day. So I hope everyone enjoys the pictures.
